Rock engravings unesco site, a lot of Roman testimonies, Renaissance frescoes, castles and characteristic villages and also site of great natural beauty! The Valle Camonica extends for 90 km from Lake Iseo to the top of Passo del Tonale, at 1883 m asl.  

Known throughout the world for the Rock Engravings, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, the Valle Camonica has always been synonymous with Culture, Art and History: priceless archaeological heritage from the Roman era, to the beautiful churches frescoed by great Renaissance painters, to the numerous medieval villages and castles, and an effective museum system.  Valle Camonica also means Nature and Sport, thanks to the presence of important Ski areas, the Ciclovia of the River Oglio and the numerous trails dedicated to mountain biking and trekking, in a varied landscape, from the glacier to the lake, characterized by 55% of protected area , kept in the Nature Network of Valle Camonica, where the Adamello and Stelvio Parks stand out, which allow countless walks in the open air.  

But the Valle Camonica is also Wellness, in the modern spas of Boario and Angolo and Sapori thanks to a rich basket of typical products and traditional Camuna recipes.

Rock engravings The first Italian UNESCO site, the Camonica Valley is one of the largest collections of prehistoric petroglyphs in the world! UNESCO has recognized over 140,000 figures, but new uninterrupted discoveries have progressively increased the overall number of cataloged incisions, up to three hundred thousand. The rock art in Val Camonica is reported on about 2000 rocks in over 180 locations including 24 municipalities and 8 parks equipped for visiting.

Most beautiful villages on the alps Camonica Valley is also rich in picturesque villages, here there is one of the "Most beautiful villages in Italy": Bienno, an ancient medieval Alpine village of rare beauty, founded on iron working , whose secrets have been handed down from generation to generation. But Bienno is also a place rich in beautiful artistic works, such as the church frescoed by the Renaissance painter Romanino. Home to the renowned "Mostra Mercato" held at the end of August: an inevitable festival of art, crafts, history, shows and traditions.
